A Tragicomedy at the Leper Asylum
Based on a short story by Isaac Leib Peretz
An installation based on everyday pieces of life from the Hansen Hospital, and memories of its previous tenants. The participants in this project use archive photographs and journal entries of nurses and doctors, putting life into them through Augmented Reality technology and a series of artist’s books. These works of art examine past experiences while considering this place and its present significance. Participants: Lila Chitayat, Alon Chitayat, Shalom Amira, Soul Royale studio
