Jerusalem Futurism
A concluding exhibition of a course in the Department of Visual and Material Culture at Bezalel, led by Dr. Maayan Sheleff.

The exhibition explores futuristic thought in art and political imagination, examining its expressions across diverse media and disciplines—ranging from theory, photography, and design to architecture and art.

In a time marked by growing polarization between communities and individuals, and the rise of dichotomous perceptions of identity, the course Jerusalem Futurism set out to imagine alternative futures. Its aim was to foster critical thinking, empathy, hope, and civic engagement.

Participants: Victoria Boguslavsky, Hili Ben Or, Lihi Bar-Lee, Harel Ori, Tzahi Zafrani

The exhibition will be on view from July 9 to July 24, 2025 at the Hospice Building in the eastern courtyard of the Hansen House compound.

Open to the public during Hansen House operating hours.
