It is a personal ground where each individual defines themself, yet it is also exposed to society—open to judgment, appropriation, and even commodification. At times, selfhood itself functions as a product: displayed, labeled, and consumed. While our inner narratives often feel private, they are continually shaped and challenged by broader political, social, and economic forces—no less powerful than home, language, or family.

Within this context, the Final Project serves as a gateway: a first step into a mature and critical act of design. It marks a moment of exploration, where students reflect on questions of self-definition and collective meaning in conversation with their surroundings. The projects presented here span a wide range of themes—migration and belonging, family and social structures, language and the urban landscape — those essential forces that together shape who we are.
